"Role of Civil Services in contemporary times" with Mr. Vivek Atray La Politique, Department of Political Science, Kirori Mal College organized a webinar on the topic "Role of Civil Services in contemporary times" with the guest speaker for the event being Mr. Vivek Atray, Ex- IAS officer, author, and motivational speaker on 6th February 2021 at 12PM via Zoom platform. The event focused on how listening to the people and empathy for them is the most important quality of a civil servant. Our distinguished speaker also shared the valuable experiences he holds while serving as an IAS officer. Ground reality and connecting to the masses is more important in a job like that of a civil servant rather than just theoretical knowledge. The webinar ended on a positive note with an engaging question hour session which overall served to be really informative and insightful for our future plans, being the student of Political Science.
